Here are some
photos I've always meant to upload but never quite got around to it
until now... (31st Dec. '09)
At the beginning of 2009, I developed an interest in photography and
decided to try out my new skills by photographing the Campsie Fells and
surrounding landscapes by night. The moon was out, and snow was on the
ground. I'd heard that walking in the snow under moonlight is almost
like being in the daylight so bright is the light being reflected and I
travelled out to a small hill outside Glasgow with camera and tripod in
hand.
The results of the first night (10.10pm on 9th to 12.35am on the 10th) were excellent, though the second
(10.30pm-11pm on 11th) to a lesser degree. Even if
there were a couple of other things I'd wanted to try out by the time the
snow melted, these two nights were valuable learning experiences.
9th February - clear, blue night
11th February - city lights,
melting snow
