Looking down the upper reaches of Glencorse, Carnethy Hill above. At this point in the walk, the hills took on a much larger feel, feeling closer in scale to the Cairngorms than hills as high as the Campsies. I was amazed to think Edinburgh wasn't far away. With so far to walk to get back, they seemed very remote.
